New start times for the Steel Valley School District this year

Hello, Steel Valley families!

While summer is still in full swing, it’s never too early to plan ahead for the start of the upcoming school year. Please note that our schools will be operating on a new schedule this year.

Breakfast will be available for all students, with high school beginning at 7:05, middle school at 7:30, and elementary school at 8.

Early drop-off is available for elementary students beginning at 7:30.

The high school day will officially start at 7:35 and end at 2:22, the middle school will begin at 8:05 and end at 3:08, and Steel Valley Elementary will begin at 8:25 and end at 3:20.  

For Pre-K students, optional breakfast starts at 8:40 a.m. and the day begins at 9 a.m. Pre-K students will be dismissed at 3 p.m.

Please make plans now to ensure your students are ready to start their day at the appropriate time.
